The very FIRST identity of a newborn is gender. All other identities develop as the child grows. In Thailand “tat lieng pet” (feeding the duck) means cutting the penis and feeding ducks or selling to Chinese who believe it to be an aphrodisiac. (Some indecent women in Bangkok have done it with their customers to settle disputes).
What is the gender of that man whose penis stands missing? The same is the crisis of “Bengalis”.
Bengali identity:
Usually, it is believed to be a linguistic identity but I find it older than the language. Bengali, as a language, has developed over more than 1,300 years but the land BONGABHUMI is much older and when Patlipura was the capital, inhabitants of BANGA might have been identified as BANGAWALA or BANGAWALI (around 300 BC) or Bangali.
British made our language Bengali from Bangla and gave us the FIRST printed book, a Bible.
1203 CE to 1971(birth of Bangladesh) Bengalis meant Bangla speaking Hindus of Bengal (and East Pakistan). Within 46 years Bangladeshis are “robbing” Bengali’s identity (the penis) and we are justifying it by the illogical, untenable, baseless argument of broadness & magnanimity by accepting defeat. This is also Hindu sentiment all over India because they attempted to accept the unacceptable, tolerate the intolerable, and attempt to overlook the difference between good and bad, real and fake, truth and al taqiya (Abrahamic deception).
Why do I say so?
1. Talking about the Hindu Muslim relation of early 13th /14th century Bengal, R C Majumder wrote that Islamization was going on without much destruction and mayhem like western and central India.
2. Syed Mustafa Ali in his work “barobabu” attributes this to the overall ignorance about one another. A Hindu never knew what a Maulavi is teaching about idolater kafr at their neighboring Madrassa and the Maulavi never knew that most of the alchemy and arithmetic he teaches was from Sanskrit and Greek. A Pandit did not know what Islam was all about and taught all religions are the same without ever reading/knowing.
3. Why Brit came here and St. Teresa chose Kolkata, the reason might have been the same – people over here were/are blissful and accommodating in ignorance (accepts without doubting/verifying).
4. 1905 Brit came to know Hindu Muslims cannot and should not live together and decided to divide Bengal but Hindus went with RAKHI on the street to beg Muslims to stay together. ( some also think it was a trial run to exchange LAND between India and ARABIA to create Israel which became reality in 1947 & 48) .
Within 41 years, in 1946 came the Calcutta killing, Noakhali, and 15 Aug 1947. Hindus became a refugee in their ancestral home.
6. Muslims of EP and WP could not align and soon EP Muslims remembered they were Bengali (Muslim Leagues told Bangla is the language of Kafir Pakistan cannot accept and all their supporters accepted it). There was movement and Hindus of both sides became overwhelmed with joy. They fought for language and freedom and became UNWANTED refugees this time.
7. 1971 – When Chittagong Non –Muslims wanted to cross over to India, Indira Gandhi refuged and Bangabandhu asked the “ tora Bangali hoye ja” –you all become Bengali. That means Hindus of his own country are not Bengalis i.e. Bengalis means only Muslims.
*** 2021 US election time their media mention (canvasses in NYC in Bangla) Bengali means Muslims of Bangladesh origin (same in Southall, London suburb).
8. Mujibur Rahman wanted to return to Bong’s identity by reverting to Sudh- Bangla. Like in TV shows radio news dada- baudi from bhaiya bhabi, ma- baba from amma – abba, etic but it soon appeared to be Al Taqiya to fool Hindus.
9. Ghani Khan Dynasty was losing the vote to communists and he said to have started importing Muslims from BD for election wining but Jyoti Basu openly said those infiltrators are “economic refugees”. ”. (This ধুতিdragon insisted on the creation of Pakistan before freedom to India for the development of Muslims and after 32 years of development they became economic refugees?) In the same way, his party developed WB for 35 years.
10. BD banned URDU and he made Urdu Academy and absorbed most Bihari Muslims of EP to whom Pakistan, Saudi, or BD refused to take/keep.
11. Santiniketan became a center for BD Muslim scholars and soon our language started becoming Islamic. Then, digitization came and vocabularies of Persian/Arabic/Urdu started getting preference over Sanskrit. Today WB textbooks are printed in Islamic languages and WB Hindus are careless and secular. 2022 They are demanding a chair for the Arabic language.
12. BD’s Banglapedea seems less imperial data bank and more Abrahamic supremacy literatures. (Thank God there are some sensible scholars amongst BD Muslims.)

The historical perspective in Bangbhumi:
Dobhashi Bengali in the Bengali alphabet was started by the people of Sylhet district but it was taken over by invader rulers to start Bangla as a language with up to 70% Persian/Arabic vocabulary.
1206 – They refused Indic languages and by 1837 URDU was manufactured for Ashraf.
In 1857 -Urdu has been declared all Muslim language.
1780 – First Madrassa came up & Bangla could enter only in 1936.
1906 – Muslim league formed and till 1948 Bangla had been declared a KAFR language.
1935-36 Calcutta University convocation in Bangla and Muslims boycott it.
1947 Partition 1948 Dhirendranath Dutta raised demanded for Bangla as an official language of Pakistan. He was called an agent of India and his dead body could never be found in his mother land. (Hindus think Muslims are Bengalis).
History of some lost identities of groups, communities, or races:
All living being including human loves to live together with like-minded fellows. But “wheels” of monotheistic exclusivity and intolerance have killed many groups of men. Here are a few Hindu Bongs to take note of.
1. Yazidis are not known as Arabs.
2. Druze of Israel is Arab as per Jews but they think they are Israelis
3. Druze of Lebanon & Jordon is Arab after the fall of the Ottoman in the 1920s.
4. Majority of Christians of Lebanon (Levant) are Maronite Christians & Arabs too. The Lebanese Christian population has shrunken from 78 percent to only 32.1 percent over the last century.
5. “Kurd” people are of the Neolithic origin of Germo Culture (7100BC) settled in Present-day Eastern Iran and later had their own country, the KURDISTAN. Today they use 6 languages, 6 religions (Assyrian, Zoroastrianism, Yazidi, Christianity, Islam and are spread over 2 continents and 7 countries. They are grossly known as Sunni Muslims. But most countries try to chase them out as non-entity including Saddam Husain.

i. 1203 AD 100%
ii. 1757 AD 65.5% (Brit came)
iii. 1871 64. 71% (First census by Brit)
iv. 1947 46% (Brit goes)
v. 1951 44.51% (Both side together)
vi. 1971 38.78% (Both together)
vii. 2011 not Clear – Milking cows for WB
viii. 2021 (Estimated) – 32% Approx.
ix. 113 out of 294 assembly seats in WB are unofficially reserved for them.
My question to our Manyabar Bhadrolok (who are doing ka ka ki ki for Rohingyas and BD infiltrators) – ‘how long you will show your liberalism and accommodating greatness?’ Look below your feet at least. Take the “Mechuya Ghat” of Kolkata, it was built by Prasanna Kumar Thakur of the Tagor family, and now? Can you go and perform Hindu rituals there or at Zenana Ghat, built by RC Goenka in 1890. (It falls under Firhad Hakims mini Pakistan).
Sometimes put your hand on your genital and check if it is stolen or it is still there. Your identity is at stake now.
