When a Language becomes weapon for conversion:

We all know matric to standard system conversion, in chemistry there is ‘Yield’ after a conversion   there remains no connection with originally converted substances or numerical with end products/figures.

But when it comes to conversion of Human, thinking subjects, there cannot be a complete transformation like petrochemical to plastic/nylon.  Thus the Bible and the Koran dictation to increase followers by religious conversion change has ‘yielded’ success in those days of atrocities, massacres, and forceful destruction of civilizations but now the realization has come that “human thought s and imaginations” cannot be fully contained by a set of dogmas and do’s and don’ts or making them poor and give food/shelter. Thus came the Papal bulls “conquer, convert, divide and rule” in use from the 15th century.

Since then conversion through education, training, employment, languages, and awards/prizes started. Many of us do not care to understand that these conversions push us towards new religion and create hatred towards one’s original religion and culture which Muslims tried for 800 yrs.’  to destroy, Catholic Portuguese 500 yrs. and Protestant British 259 yrs. in India.

They have appears to have gone but not the conversion process?  We non-converts are now the victim of “Linguistic conversion” besides religious one.

History of Indian languages:

Languages in India did not come from the Hanging Garden of Babylon but evolved with nature and time. Language (ভাষা– भासा ) is just the media of expression of Bhav (ভাব– भाब ) i.e. feeling, mood, emotion, and thought. From symbols and syllables to phonetics, languages developed as per the geophysical condition of the living of people of their respective areas. But at one stage it was the rulers who shaped it and popularized it through administration, institutions, academics, art & literature, etc. It is the grammar that perfected it. Traditionally language development depends upon the principle of reinforcement. The principle of reinforcement is a psychological concept based on the idea that the “consequences of an action will influence future behavior”.

Philological importance:

Philology is a branch of knowledge that deals with the structure, historical development, and relationships of a language or group of languages. Therefore every language is impregnated with the emotion, thought, perception, and way of expression (cultural varieties) of the people who spoke at the origin. It also reflects the geopolitical and religious philosophy of the original speakers.  India had 1000s of languages from antiquity without ever a rivalry or animosity among speakers. Even pre-Panini Sanskrit was different but that has not divided our seers /sages.

Some academicians believe the British outsourced a Hindu Employee from Bengal who initiated the destruction of Sanskrit in Brit parliament in 1840 and came up with a curriculum that projects the Indian native education system as regressive, outdated, superstitious, and condemnable. Even today our universities are almost following the same.

Panini the unifier:

 Here comes Panini who gave SANSKAR (cultivation and rectification) by forming grammar, giving shape to individual letters both phonetically and symbolically. In 1985 Mr. Rick Briggs from NASA first time wrote “Knowledge Representation in Sanskrit and Artificial intelligence”. Since then Sanskrit is under study at NASA, Microsoft, and Linux as scientists believe when computers start understanding “Natural Language”, Sanskrit will be the only language to fit in. Global synchronization in phonetics can bring script and pronunciation differences worldwide with a single click in Sanskrit. Thus the next generation is likely to be Sanskrit where the spelling of Door, Poor, and Cook will change as per phonetics; psychology, knight, etc. will change its spelling. One may not give credit for this to the Hindu religion or its philosophy but Panini?

 Dakshinaputra Panini (full name) was born at Salatula a town near Taxila, now in Pakistan in (520 BC- 460 BC) 6th century BC during the Mahajanapada era (the era of democracy, 2 out of 16 states between Persia / Iran to Siam/Thailand adapted” democracy”.

Rishi Panini’s “Astadhayani” has been called “Morphological Analysis” by western philologists and Linguists in the 20th century.  He is held as the father of Grammar as well as philology.

Philological Unity of Bharatvarsh (undivided India):

There has never been a linguistic clash between various language-speaking people because of Sanskrit. A language (phonetics & vocabulary) changes every 1000 miles from any given point. We can see in our language how many dialects or pronunciation differences or names of tree/fruits change prevail. How does that mean they are different people? Yes, Christian missionaries wherever they have gone did this – be it America, Australia, or India.

But be it Takshashila or Nalanda ( ancient India universities) no one used knowledge as a commodity to create wealth or linguistic division/ superiority.

India was born in 711 AD for Muslims, for Christian 1616-1632 and Brown Sahib i.e. Thomas Babington Macaulay’s robots – 1757 E.I.C. arrival & 1835 and Communist & Nehruvians in 1947.

Each group wanted/wants to divide Hindus to destroy Hinduism.

The death of Sanskrit is the death of Hinduism:

Sanskrit was a globally crowned Empress for men of knowledge.  Buddhists did attempt to replace her with Prakrit etc. but failed.   

From 711 AD to 1740s she was humiliated and kicked out of Royal Courts, Military parades and barracks, Court of Law, and civil domain by Arabic/ Persian. From 1757 s she was being projected as a hard shell, crooked, lady of burden and many of her children learned English and became her enemies. British used her to extract “sacred and secret” of her ancient wealth and legacy to use for INCULTURATION.

By 1835-40 she was being held by her fist of hair at Brit parliament and thrown out of education centers. Muslim avoided her but Christians tortured and brought her on her knee. She was forced to take shelter in only Temple and a particular professional who used her for EARNING and/or knowledge preservation. After 1947 Mountbatten’s friend became PM who in 1949 Enacted Article 30 (against Hindus), 1951 –Hindu religious and endowment trust and 1953 History council by anti-Hindu individuals, FTII with AMU JMI heads.  It was like removing her house arrest and putting her in a Cell in Prison. The first Arab education minister threw the KEY of the cell to the Arabian Sea.

How language was/ is used as a weapon:

Urdu:

It is well known that linguistic respectability and receptivity between India, Persia, and central Asia but that was not the case when Arabic vocabularies in Persian/Arabic script was pushed through the people of Afghanistan, Sind to Kashmir via Multan at the point of the swords. As they reached the heart of India they felt the need for a language of their own in 1206 AD. 1837 it becomes the official language of Muslim rulers & Ashraf (immigrants) but its acceptability remained limited to Military barracks, Kazi office (Islamic judiciary – many such vocabularies are still in use these days), कोठा (Katha) or  BROTHEL ( still in use at Mumbai film industry). In 1857 it was declared a language for all converted Muslims too.  This long Gestation from 1206 to 1837 could be because all invader rulers and their court chroniclers did not have any common language except the script.

English:

The same was the situation for Christian evangelists from Spain and Portuguese on arrival at the Indian sea coast. English arrived at Surat, Gujarat in 1613 but set foot in Bengal after 1757. Churches overwhelmingly accepted English along with those Greek/Latin biblical hymns till  Om Prakash Tyagi, an MP  brought on Dec. 2, 1978, under the title THE FREEDOM OF RELIGION BILL-1978  ( Except Tamil, Local languages had to wait from 1616 to1978)  to get entry in Church. https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=1461781 ( may read)

It was here that St. Teresa marched on Delhi street with Indian Instruments for the FIRST time, Changed her ‘SACRED HEART’ to ‘Nirmal Hridya’, etc., and Jesudass‘s Malayalam Jeshu Bhajan became popular.

How many dialects of our main languages are converted into language for Christian missionaries in Roman Script in North East, Bangladesh hilly region, Orissa, Deccan, MP, UP, Rajasthan? You can surf, most are available. 

Evangelical coup:

They were amazed to see India through Sanskrit. One Jesuit Father Hanxleden compiled the first Sanskrit grammar in the European language between 1699 & 1732. Those early priests soon realized if they keep praising India and its culture they would neglect their primary job of Christianization. Church clearly understood that India stands united even after centuries of Islamic mayhem only because of Sanskrit and Sanskrit scholars /users i.e. Brahman. Thus Father Coeurdoux in 1767 writes “Brahmins of India were descendants from one of the sons of Japhet. Distortion of Indian cultural legacy starts. Bible says Earth has created 4000 yrs. before God sent His son on the Earth. Therefore whatever they wrote about India in a historical context was dated in such a way that it does not hit 4000yr.  Anti-Brahman and anti-Sanskrit movements might have been started in Oxford / Cambridge and continued by communist and secularist Hindus to remain in the good book of the Church and former masters.

When East India Company’s administrators arrives and they too found the richness of the land, its language, and culture as well as the damage brought to it by Islamic aggression. They took interest in Sanskrit, learned it, and translated Bhagwat Gita, Upanishads, Hitopodesham, Geetgobindam, etc., and popularized it in Europe. Sir William Jones (1746-94- he even went on to say that Aryan brought Sanskrit from Europe and he taught it to Indian Bahaman), Charles William (1749 – 1836) Horace Hayman Wilson (1789 – 1860) was at the forefront.

On the other hand Asiatic Society, Archeological Society, and History research originated. Churches had to take a different route to suit their purposes.  Aryan invasion and the Dravid divide were introduced. Then came Lord Macaulay’s deliberation in the British parliament in 1835 (robot-making proposal).

They revived the caste system, converted Sikh Royal families, formed Akali Dal, broke the backbone of Chola architects and artisans (declared untouchable by Dr.Hume), and brought Theosophical society to confuse Hindus with Inculturation,  the term Bhadrlok was used to keep educated Hindus away from commoners,   inspired Brahma Samaj, Prarthana Samaj to Anglicize Hindus and Dravid Perrier movement to destroy Hinduism from within,  but still, they failed to induce animosity in Hindus to the extend  1936 caste Schedule and reservation could.  When Hindus were learning to live with it, they resorted to distinct linguistic animosity by designing each language group with different adjectives – like Bharaloks were broad minded, modern, soft & intelligent, Tamils are scientifically inclined, Punjabis and Gorkhas are marshal race, etc. They brought Telugu and Tamil people on the street to fight. They failed to Anglicize the Hindi belt so they called the area ‘Cow belt’ to demean people. They made NEFA and converted people creating animosity among various indigenous people (each church converted a particular tribe. Like intra-church differences, these tribes even today fight each other though they are all Christian).  They acted as the catalyst to form Christian separatist and terrorist groups. Critically analyze the political career of Thiru M. Karunanidhi who  became de facto Emperor of Tamil Nadu only by hating & opposing Sanskrit and Hindi-Hindu-Hindustan.  A learned Tamil told me The Tamil Academy was founded by a Church (I do not know).

  They trained Hindus in London and were convinced to make provinces based on language after they leave, which Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose refused/opposed.

We are still fighting each other and they are converting us. When will Hindu Bengalis, Tamil, and Sikh-Hindu Punjabis realize this?
